The MBA’s Annual Technology Conference is in full swing from the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Fla. The event kicked off Sunday night with an opening reception in the exhibit hall. The conference seems well attended, but the exhibit hall is on the smaller side, with 68 companies exhibiting.
PROGRESS in Lending also held their Innovations Awards ceremony last night. Congratulations to agency client Indisoft on being recognized for their RxOffice platform.
Other winners included a la mode inc, Compliance Systems Inc., eLynx, Lykken on Lending Radio Program, NCS and The Turning Point.

When asked what they hope to get out of the MBA Tech Conference, the one answer I’ve heard consistently is to network with other tech providers and build partnerships that will better help automate the mortgage industry. It’s interesting that even though many of the people we talk to do not see this as a primary “sales” show, the mood is quote upbeat with discussions on how the latest in technology can help the mortgage industry continue to recover.
Top of the list? More robust and comprehensive compliance automation. Other top topics include mobile applications, more advanced data and stronger risk management.
